Our approach   Fundamental to ORMI's philosophy is that managing for sustainability requires a multidimensional approach to the problems and issues of tomorrow. We believe that anticipating sustainable futures relies on combining the science of trends, forecasts and limits with a will to speculate on possibilities and opportunities.   At ORMI we have assembled a team of scientists and social scientists with technical expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies designed to assist the corporate and government sectors in envisioning sustainable forms of economy, society and environment.   Our work is typically focused on managing for sustainability at the ‘landscape’ scale; on expressing abstract issues such as ‘climate change’, ‘economic well being' and ‘inclusive community’ at a scale meaningful to peoples’ everyday lives.
